The Lived Reality: Our approach recognizes that APEST gifts are not abstract concepts but lived realities with unique fingerprints (expressions) across two areas:

  • The Aspects of Gift Development highlight a person’s gift’s progression and growth areas—how it develops over time, aligns with biblical teachings, and impacts relationships and the mission.
  • The Core Markers of Gift Expression measure how the gift is expressed and its effects in the present moment—looking at the presence, maturity, clarity, impact, and health of the gift in action.

Maturity, Humility, and Trust

APEST Operating Systems is an initiatory approach to church leadership, demanding a significant commitment to maturity, humility, and trust. To fully realize its potential, teams must be prepared for an intensive implementation process.

Crucially, APEST Operating Systems is not designed to run concurrently with existing church operating systems. It requires a dedicated and comprehensive equipping process to build capacity among team members. Without this investment, the initiative is unlikely to succeed.

We equip leaders to create capacity for mission fulfillment through APEST gifts.

 

    1. We measure our progress through several key metrics: the number of individuals and teams trained, successful implementation of the skills they learn, and positive changes observed in the leadership dynamics of their teams.

    2. We aspire to reach 300 impact testimonials on individual and team dynamics by 2027. Achieving this goal would involve training approximately 1,000 people annually and receiving an average of 100 testimonials annually.
